Mural Artist Jordan Betten Has Staked His Claim on West 27th

NEW YORK—Artist Jordan Betten, the founder of Lost Art, has put his mark on a series of doorways in the Chelsea Gallery district. The murals, executed in his signature style, feature mystical horses and a series of women’s faces. Titled “Sleep No More” the 2012 works are painted on West 27th Street, between 10th and 11th avenues.

The murals are painted on the same block as Betten’s Lost Art.

The works are installed in doorways next door to Son Cubano (soul of Cuba), a supper club.
