NEW YORK—The captivating nature of the outdoors is on display at the Anthropologie Gallery in the retailer’s Rockefeller Center store. “The Nature of Things” features six works by Maryland artist Brent Crothers.
Crothers lives in Stoney Forest which is located in Hartford County, Md., where he has 20 acres of land from which to harvest materials for his art. His work is both vernacular and rustic, elegant and contemporary, as exemplified by “Untitled,” his circular assemblage of cross cut tree limbs.
