Aloft Harlem Exhibit Features Portraits of Music Legends by Charly Palmer

Harlem, NEW YORK—Lead Belly, Stevie Wonder, Nina Simone, Frank Sinatra and Run DMC are hanging out at the pool table in the lobby of Aloft Harlem. The uptown hotel is collaborating with Marietta, Ga.-based Avisca Fine Art on a series of art exhibits at the uptown hotel. The second installment, “High Notes, Blue Notes & Honkey Tonk,” features 15 stained-glass style paintings by Charly Palmer that pay tribute to music legends.

The exhibit is on view from Feb. 16 to March 14, 2012.
