Susan Benarcik’s Nature-Inspired Works are on Exhibit at 1st Dibs

NEW YORK—Print maker and sculptor Susan Benarcik is inspired by the natural world, integrating man-made materials with natural elements to create abstract and representational works. Benarcik is exhibiting a collection of prints, photographs and large and small sculptures at 1st Dibs in the New York Design Center. The installation artist described her work to 1st Dibs thus: “My works are often metaphors for reality, and explore the cyclical mysteries of nature. They often allude to similar circumstances in human nature such as birth, growth, survival and death.”

The exhibit is on view from March 1 to April 30, 2012.
