Queens, NEW YORK—After viewing Now Dig This! at MoMA PS1, an incredible exhibit documenting the work and interactions of 32 black artists who shaped the art scene in Los Angeles between 1960 and 1980, I went across the street see if any new murals had been painted at 5 Pointz since the last time I visited. A blue installation featuring a wild boar manages to be both gruesome and elegant.
