A sculpture of Rosa Parks was unveiled at a dedication ceremony at the U.S. Capitol today. The Washington Post reports civil rights legend is the first black woman to be honored with life-sized statue at the capitol. The bronze and granite work designed by Robert Firmin and sculpted by Eugene Daub stands in Statuary Hall. Read article in the Washington Post
