Nari Ward: Waterfront Sculptures at West Harlem Piers Park

Voice II (2008) by Nari Ward

Harlem, NEW YORK—Two years ago, the city remade the Hudson River waterfront across from the Fairway grocery market in Harlem with modern bench seating and fishing piers. The walkable West Harlem Piers Park also features a curious trio of stainless steel mosaic sculptures. The installations, by New York artist Nari Ward, reference the eyelet guide found on fishing poles.
