At the Corcoran, Another Niki de Saint Phalle Sighting

WASHINGTON, DC—Over the past few weeks, Arts Observer has been encountering the work of Niki de Saint Phalle (1930-2002) at almost every turn it seems. From New York to Charlotte and Washington, D.C., her colorful mosaic and painted sculptures are on exhibit. The exaggerated figures—even this small work at the Corcoran Gallery of Art—never fail to elicit joy and wonder.
