NEW YORK—The dining concourse in Grand Central Terminal has been infused with illuminated nature, courtesy of the Metropolitan Transit Authority.
The transportation agency’s Arts for Transit Lightbox Project features photographs by Sophie T. Lvoff and Charlotte Brown of pastoral scenes ‘North of the City.’
Brown’s installation includes images of the New York Botanic Gardens in the Bronx. Photographs of manicured, residential lawns and hedges in Westchester County and Connecticut are featured in Lvoff’s work.
