NEW YORK—Last year The Bar Downstairs inaugurated a rotating art program that welcomes patrons at the door of the establishment. In December, a new mural by Mr. Cartoon was installed on the entrance to the bar which is a part of the Andaz Hotel on 42nd Street.
Mr. Cartoon, who creates tattoo-style work, is the second artist to beautify the bar’s entrance. The installation was a Statue of Liberty image by Mike Dreeland.
